Softball Recap: Palo Verde Valley Takes a Loss

Palo Verde Valley lost against Imperial last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Tigers, falling 18-4. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palo Verde Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianna Lee, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Palo Verde Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Imperial, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palo Verde Valley will welcome Calexico at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Imperial, they will host West Hills at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
