Greenfield waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Dresden Lions by a score of 6-3. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 10-2 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Easton Sullivan was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Those 16 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Baker Biggs was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Knox Liggett, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Greenfield's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Dresden, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Greenfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
