Game recap: Carr throws for four touchdowns in Immaculate Conception's victory over St. Edward

Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, Ill.) beat St. Edward (Elgin, Ill.) 49-22 while riding the arm of Dimitris Carr, who tossed four touchdown passes.

The Knights were up 21-7 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Carr to Adam Muellers in the second quarter.

Immaculate Conception expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. IC scored two times in the third, including once on a Genard Bell touchdown run.

The Green Wave's Andrew Yarwood was the standout player for his team. The senior wide receiver caught two touchdowns.



With the win the Elmhurst school extended its winning streak to four games. The loss was the third in a row for St. Edward.

Immaculate Conception (4-0) will play a non-conference game against Marian Central Catholic next week, while St. Edward (1-3) will take on Aurora Central Catholic also in a non-conference game.
