Seabreeze won the last time they faced Deltona, and Lilli Litz did her part to make sure it happened again. The Sandcrabs put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Litz, who had ten digs and seven aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Seabreeze not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Deltona between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-17.

Loss or not, Deltona got some senior leadership from Kenadie Suarez and Jenah Redmond. Suarez had 17 digs and four assists, while Redmond had 14 assists and 12 digs.

Seabreeze has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Deltona, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Seabreeze will take on Father Lopez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deltona, they will challenge Trinity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
