Softball Recap: Johnsburg Comes Up Short

Johnsburg managed to slip by Richmond-Burton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Skyhawks lost 8-0 to the Rockets on Tuesday. The Skyhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Johnsburg and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Richmond-Burton, they pushed their record up to 16-6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Johnsburg will head out to challenge Sandwich at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richmond-Burton, they will face off against Wauconda at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
