Basketball Recap: Belle Fourche Comes Up Short

Belle Fourche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Wall Eagles 85-46. The Broncs were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Emmet Dinger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wall, putting up 35 points and six rebounds. Those 35 points gave Dinger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Teelan Kjerstad, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine assists.

Belle Fourche's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Wall, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Belle Fourche has already played their next game, a 60-39 loss against Sturgis Brown on the 22nd. As for Wall, they will be playing at home against Kadoka at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kadoka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.1 points per game this season.
