Basketball Recap: Clarksburg Takes a Loss

Clarksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Gleason Bulldogs, falling 67-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-39 back in December of 2024.

Clarksburg's record now sits at 2-20. As for Gleason, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksburg and Halls will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Gleason, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union City will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Gleason surely won't give up without a fight.
