Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Anchorage). They blew past the Eagle River Wolves 44-7 on Monday. The Eagles have beaten the Wolves the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolves has come to flipping the script.

West Anchorage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ariel Misa, who threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns Misa has posted over her last seven matchups. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Seryko, who picked up 162 receiving yards and three TDs.

West Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Eagle River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

West Anchorage will head out on the road to take on Chugiak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eagle River, they will square off against Lathrop at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
