Preview: Boyer Valley vs. St. Mary's
St. Mary's will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Boyer Valley at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
St. Mary's had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 26-58 punch to the gut against Audubon last Friday. St. Mary's were down by 14-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Boyer Valley also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-41 to Ar-We-Va.
