It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Little Wound had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Pine Ridge Thorpes with a sharp 34-12 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Little Wound's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Pine Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Little Wound will take on Todd County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. Pine Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
