Softball Recap: Campbell Takes a Loss

Campbell lost against Dexter back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Camels lost 20-6 to the Bearcats. The Camels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sabine Johnson and Ryann Durham stepped up to the plate in a big way. Johnson went 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles, while Durham went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Hartlee Wills was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dexter, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Coming up, Campbell will take on Clarkton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dexter, they will take on Bloomfield in a tournament on Saturday.
