Basketball Game Preview: R-S Central Hilltoppers vs. Chesnee Eagles

R-S Central is on a five-game streak of home losses, Chesnee a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

On Tuesday, R-S Central came up short against East Rutherford and fell 42-29.

Meanwhile, Chesnee had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 47-36 victory over Greenville Tech Charter on Tuesday.

R-S Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Chesnee, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-13.

R-S Central took their victory against Chesnee in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 47-22. Does R-S Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chesnee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
