Gray Stone Day is a perfect 10-0 against Albemarle since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Meanwhile, Albemarle's match on Wednesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past South Stanly 5-1. That looming 5-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Albemarle yet this season.

Gray Stone Day's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five contests. As for Albemarle, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.
