Oakland Tech hasn't lost a match since January 8th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Everything went their way against the Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas as the Oakland Tech Bulldogs made off with a 7-2 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Pumas are ranked 1097th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oakland Tech's offense was hitting Leadership Public Schools Richmond from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ahoora Shojaee led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Oakland Tech pushed their record up to 8-3-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Leadership Public Schools Richmond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13-2.

Coincidentally, Oakland Tech and Leadership Public Schools Richmond will both be playing Leadership the next time they take the pitch. Leadership Public Schools Richmond will head out to face Leadership at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Oakland Tech will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on February 18th.
