Softball Recap: Riverside Victorious

The Riverside Pirates beat the North Union Wildcats 11-7 on Monday.

Miah Carman was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilee Robinson, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Carman wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Riverside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Riverside now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will square off against Bellefontaine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Union, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bishop Ready at 5:15 p.m.
