Basketball Recap: Miller County Piles Up the Points Against Pataula Charter Academy

Miller County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers 56-15. That looming 56-15 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pirates yet this season.

Miller County found their leader in sophomore Hannah Cratic, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Cratic has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Talaysia Hopson, who posted eight points and three steals.

The victory snapped Miller County's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-15 record. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
