Basketball Recap: Woodstock Comes Up Short

Woodstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-35 to Rivendell Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against Rivendell Academy this season, with their most recent loss being a 42-35 defeat last Saturday.

Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Rivendell Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-14 record this season.

Coming up, Woodstock will face off against Green Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rivendell Academy has already played their next matchup (against Leland & Gray), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
