Medina Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Churchill on Friday. The Medina Valley Panthers had just enough and edged out the Churchill Chargers 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Jake Phillips made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Phillips was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.
