Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Goodrich

Goodrich won the last time they faced Clio and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Martians came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Martians.

Thomas Niles was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 12 matches. Another player making a difference was Nate Gould, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Goodrich pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clio, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
