Baseball Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

Franklin County was the 8-5 winner over Great Crossing when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Flyers fell just short of Great Crossing by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Great Crossing, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

While Franklin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
