Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nansemond-Suffolk Academy). Everything went their way against the Peninsula Catholic Knights on Friday as they made off with a 9-3 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Peninsula Catholic, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Hampton Roads Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Nansemond-Suffolk Academy their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Peninsula Catholic will square off against rival Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
