Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the East Noble Knights on Saturday as they made off with a 9-3 victory. Considering the Saints have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Avianna Vasquez tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lydia Garrett, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Baker, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Noble only managed four hits.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for East Noble, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-8-1.
