Softball Recap: University Charter Sets Scoring Season-High Against Choctaw County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University Charter). They put the hurt on the Choctaw County Tigers with a sharp 15-1 win on Friday. The Trail Blazers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19, 2024.

University Charter's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Choctaw County, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, University Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Hatch at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Choctaw County, they will face off against Fruitdale at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Choctaw County has given up an average of 18.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
