Basketball Game Preview: Sacred Heart Knights vs. Trinity Celtics

Sacred Heart and Trinity are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Sacred Heart Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Trinity Celtics on Friday. Sacred Heart will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Sacred Heart didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Beloit, but they still walked away with a 46-40 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 50-36 to Smoky Valley, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Sacred Heart, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Everything came up roses for Sacred Heart against Trinity in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 57-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sacred Heart since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
