Baseball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hillsdale Falcons.

Northwest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Kraft, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hillsdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Northwest is taking a road trip to face off against Triway at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillsdale, they will host Dalton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
