Meridian had to settle for second on Friday, but Penelope Klinger sure wasn't going down easily. Klinger produced her best game of the campaign: she scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Klinger and Meridian will face off against Sitka at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Klinger's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Warriors' three-game streak of wins on the road.
