Cypress Bay has gone 4-0 against Taravella recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cypress Bay Lightning will face off against the Taravella Trojans at 7:30 p.m.

Last Saturday, Cypress Bay came up short against Mater Lakes Academy and fell 59-49. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lightning came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Bears are ranked 304th).

Meanwhile, Taravella took their matchup on Monday with ease, bagging a 70-39 win over Coconut Creek.

Taravella has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Cypress Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Cypress Bay came out on top in a nail-biter against Taravella when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 53-51. Does Cypress Bay have another victory up their sleeve, or will Taravella turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
