Volleyball Recap: Kahuku's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Kahuku was the 2-0 winner over Ysleta when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The match marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kahuku fell to 4-1. As for Ysleta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Kahuku will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kalaheo at 7:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Ysleta, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Kamehameha Hawai'i on the 21st.
