La Vernia came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Warren Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Bears were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Bears were just returning the favor.

Avery Keck paced La Vernia's offense, picking up ten kills. Keck got some help from Jasi Hodgin and her 15 assists. Karis Carpenter and Madelynn Nagelmueller kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

La Vernia's record is now 17-5. As for Warren, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
