Softball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Stanwood Spartans, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seagulls of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Stanwood, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Everett is set to face off against their familiar foe Marysville-Pilchuck at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Stanwood will take on rival Snohomish at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
