Volleyball Game Preview: Allen East Mustangs vs. Spencerville Bearcats

Allen East is a perfect 10-0 against Spencerville since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Allen East is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Allen East came up short against Columbus Grove on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered against the Bulldogs since October 5, 2017.

While Allen East ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Spencerville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Allen East, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Allen East came out on top in a nail-biter against Spencerville in their previous matchup on September 13th, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
