Basketball Game Preview: Phoebus Phantoms vs. Warwick Raiders

Phoebus is 2-8 against Warwick since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Phoebus Phantoms will head out on the road to face off against the Warwick Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Phoebus is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Monday. They lost to Gloucester on the road by a 46-28 margin.

Warwick has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodside on Monday.

Phoebus' loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Warwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.

Phoebus was taken down by Warwick 56-22 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Phoebus avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
