It was a proper cat-fight when Giles County took on Ardmore on Tuesday. The Giles County Bobcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ardmore Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Giles County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ardmore, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-1.

Looking ahead, Giles County will square off against Saint James at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Ardmore, they will challenge Brewer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brewer's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Ardmore's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
