Baseball Recap: Tuscarawas Valley Comes Up Short

Tuscarawas Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollton Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-14 on Saturday.

Tuscarawas Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Carrollton, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscarawas Valley will challenge Coshocton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carrollton, they will face off against East Liverpool at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Potters at the right time seeing as the Potters are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
