Soccer Game Preview: Attica vs. Alexander

The Attica Blue Devils will square off against the Alexander Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Attica came up short against Byron-Bergen on Tuesday, falling 10-3. While losing is never fun, Attica can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Byron-Bergen are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Alexander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to Wheatland-Chili.

Attica's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Alexander, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Attica's way against Alexander when the teams last played back in September, as Attica made off with a 5-0 victory. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
