Volleyball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Heartland Christian Lions. If East was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Heartland Christian when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Heartland Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

East will venture away from home to face off against Valley Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heartland Christian, they will welcome Ursuline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
