Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Tri-Valley had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Salem Christian Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Tri-Valley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Salem Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-12.

Liv Lupole paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lupole got some help from Callie Melocheck and her 38 assists. Melocheck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Salem Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Tri-Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Williams Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salem Christian, they will challenge Upper Bucks Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
