Basketball Recap: Coffee County Central Gets the Win

On Tuesday, the Coffee County Central Red Raiders were able to grind out a solid victory over the Spring Hill Raiders, taking the game 50-39. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Cayden Trail was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Brady Wright was another key player, putting up ten points.

Coffee County Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Spring Hill, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coffee County Central will face off against Shelbyville Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Hill, they will square off against Battle Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Hill is facing Battle Creek at the right time seeing as Battle Creek is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
