Justin Palacios Goes Supernova in Hooker Victory
Justin Palacios's big game helped extend Hooker's winning streak to seven on Friday. Palacios was dynamite, rushing for 161 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 161 rushing yards.
Merritt's probably not too fond of Palacios given he always seems to get the better of them. Palacios rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Oilers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Hooker Gets a Boost from Martens in 47-8 Victory
Hooker picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kleat Martens. Martens turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 55 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 106 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Unfortunately for Merritt, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Martens. When Martens last faced the Oilers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 99 yards and two touchdowns.

Dayson Cash Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles
Dayson Cash continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 12th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He made 22 total tackles.
