Heritage (8 Man) recap December 3, 2013
Trinity Classical Academy extended the longest winning streak in Heritage (8 Man) this week by beating Joshua Springs, 47-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Knights.
Faith Baptist took down Coast Union 74-22 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Desert Christian Academy's Hunter Hurja and Kenny Gagnon led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Hurja has thrown for 1,511 yards this season, while Gagnon has 32 catches for 724 yards. The Lightning's Jeffrey Bachman leads the league in rushing yards with 1,450.
The Contenders made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 72 from 140. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 74-22 victory over the Broncos last week.
