It was a good run, but James Clemens unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 8-4 to the Sparkman Senators. The Jets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Senators earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

James Clemens saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

James Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Sparkman, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. James Clemens will venture away from home to take on Huntsville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. James Clemens is facing Huntsville at the right time seeing as Huntsville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sparkman, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hazel Green at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
