Basketball Game Preview: New Salem Holsteins vs. New Town Eagles

The New Salem Holsteins will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the New Town Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Saturday, New Salem ended up a good deal behind Glen Ullin/Hebron and lost 66-47. The Holsteins have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, New Town didn't have quite enough to beat Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] on Thursday and fell 63-61.

New Town's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for New Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
