Friendship extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 22 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-5 in the process. They took a 21-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hinsdale Central Bobcats. On the bright side, the 18- run performance marked the Golden Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Hinsdale Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. They haven't had any issues with Friendship recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

For Hinsdale Central's part, Peyton Keller was excellent, getting on base in two of his six plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Forney, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Friendship will head out on the road to face off against Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hinsdale Central, they will host Alfred-Almond at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
