Baseball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial lost against Dominguez on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centennial Apaches might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-3 to the Dominguez Dons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dominguez, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 20-0 loss against Jordan on the 3rd. As for Dominguez, they will face off against Compton Early College at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Compton Early College has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight defeats, while Dominguez will come in with three straight victories.
