Football Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

Fulton lost against Westran back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Fulton took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westran. Fulton was right on the edge of victory: they outscored Westran in the fourth quarter 8-0.

Gage Adler was nothing short of spectacular for Westran: he threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 106 yards. That's the most rushing yards Adler has posted since back in October of 2024.

Fulton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Westran, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Fulton will face off against Hannibal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Hornets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Westran, they will square off against Fayette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
