Squalicum played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against the Meridian Trojans by a score of 63-52. The game was the first time the Storm have beaten the Trojans on their court since December 21, 2021.

Blake Elston went supernova, shooting 73% from the field on his way to 27 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Orion Granberg-Kiddle, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Meridian will take on Blaine in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Borderites' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
