Crawford is a perfect 5-0 against Jonesboro since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Crawford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Crawford's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moody on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Pirates seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Crawford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzley Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jonesboro). They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over Hamilton on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Jonesboro, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Crawford beat Jonesboro 11-7 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
