Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santee). They were the clear victors by a 24-7 margin over the West Adams Panthers on Friday. With that victory, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Saul Guillen, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emiliano Contreras, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Santee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 11.4.

The win was the third in a row for Santee, bringing their record up to 8-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for West Adams, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8.

As of now, neither Santee nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
