Soccer Game Preview: Woodbridge vs. Gar-Field

The Woodbridge Vikings will head out to square off against the Gar-Field Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Woodbridge and Charles J. Colgan finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Gar-Field kept a clean sheet against Hylton on Monday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Gar-Field in their matchups with Hylton: they've now won eight in a row.

Woodbridge's draw gives them a new season record of 1-0-2. As for Gar-Field, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Woodbridge couldn't quite get it done against Gar-Field when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Woodbridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
