Basketball Recap: Broken Arrow Beats Enid for Their Eighth Straight Victory

Broken Arrow had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They strolled past the Enid Plainsmen with points to spare, taking the game 63-44. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-32 back in January.

Leading Broken Arrow to victory were Macy Marraccini and McKenzie Mathurin. Marraccini went 7-for-8 to rack up 19 points and five steals, while Mathurin went 11-for-22 en route to 26 points. Mathurin's evening made it 24 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Rekiah Bowen, who went 6-for-11 on her way to 13 points.

Broken Arrow pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Enid, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.

Broken Arrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Enid, they will take on Altus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
